LARRY THAL, AIA

Larry has lived in the Tetons for over 20 years, establishing his architectural firm, Sunlight Design, as the leading local authority of solar design and energy efficiency. Larry is an expert in his field, having taught several classes and seminars on both passive solar architecture and community design. He is a long-time member of the Congress for New Urbanism, the AIA, and the US Green Building Council, and he has always focused his small practice on designing efficient, sensible, attractive homes that take advantage of solar gain for heating, natural lighting and connection to nature. AMY BRENNAN McCARTHY
Vice-President, Treasurer

Amy’s quest for adventure and discovery has allowed her to try her hand at bartending at Dornan’s Bar in Moose, guiding trips in the Tetons and Wind Rivers for Exum Mountain Guides, sharing the natural world with students of all ages as an instructor at Teton Science Schools, serving as communications and development director in the non-profit world, and even enduring a season in Antarctica as a recycling specialist. She presently works in the field of investment management and recently served as Associate Producer of a documentary film about Wyoming's women and girls titled, Don't Fence Me In. When not out enjoying the wilderness with her dog Wister and husband Forrest, she is actively working to protect the land, animals and spirit of wild nature, here in the Tetons and around the globe by practicing and engaging others in systems of sustainability.
